Friends, the Supervisory Board of the "We Care" solidarity marathon conducted an audit of the remaining funds left in our Foundation's account after paying medical compensations to political prisoners (€10,175). With the Supervisory Board's approval, we used these funds for other types of assistance to political prisoners.
In total, "A Country to Live in" foundation received €60,000 from the "We Care" solidarity marathon. These funds were used from September 1, 2023, to August 30, 2024, as follows:

The "We Care" solidarity marathon took place last July. The funds raised during it (€574,000) were directed by the Supervisory Board to organizations that support Belarusian political prisoners.
Thank you to all Belarusians for supporting political prisoners and participating in the solidarity marathon "We Care". You make it possible to help political prisoners in the current conditions of repression and persecution inside Belarus.
In total, "A Country to Live in" foundation received €60,000 from the "We Care" solidarity marathon. These funds were used from September 1, 2023, to August 30, 2024, as follows:
- One-time payments of €300 were made to 96 political prisoners (totaling €28,800).
- Within the framework of the "Family Friend" solidarity program, the Foundation provided assistance to 31 families with children. Each family received €450 monthly over three months (totaling €13,950).
- Seventeen individuals applied for reimbursement of medical expenses, and they were paid €5,485.
- The amount of €12,500 was allocated by the "Country for Life" Foundation for the payment of parcels for the families of political prisoners.
- "A Country to Live in" foundation spent €735 on payments within the solidarity marathon programs from the organization's own funds. An additional €200 was spent from the Foundation's account on bank commissions.
