The life of political prisoner Vladimir Malakhovsky is under threat. He was not taken to a planned operation

The Lukashenko regime scoff at the Belarusians who decided to claim their rights in 2020 and 2021. A political prisoner with cancer, Vladimir Malakhovsky, is being held in the pre-trial detention center of Vitebsk. His life is in danger due to the actions of the SIZO personnel.

People write to the bot of "A Country to Live in" foundation: “Hello. A letter came from Vladimir. He writes that he was never taken to the MREK, nor was he for a planned operation. He does not feel well. They handed him an inhaler; breathing became a little easier. He is not in the mood. He is not given any information. His health is failing, his arms and legs become numb, the consequence after chemotherapy is forever."

Vladimir Malakhovsky - a member of the Belarusian People Front political party, took part in observing the elections. He suffers from oncology, has a 3rd disability group. According to the charge under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code (violence against the police), Vladimir Malakhovsky, during his arrest at a protest rally, tried to inflict traumatic blows on various parts of the policemen's body, damaged his uniform, and took possession of a police badge.

Judge Tatyana Rodina found the Vitebsk resident guilty and punished him with imprisonment for 3 and a half years in a general regime colony. Malakhovsky did not admit his guilt at the trial.
