Free shelter for refugees from Ukraine

"A Country to Live in" foundation has supported Belarusian political prisoners and Belarusians in exile. Today we also assist refugees from Ukraine who are fleeing the war. In addition, our Foundation, together with partners, is opening a shelter in Warsaw.

In a building designed for 20 people, mothers with children who fled the war will be able to live for 3 months.  Nationality doesn't matter.

In the shelter, you will find not only like-minded people, cover, and warmth, but also:
  • a house that is fully equipped for mothers with children (with its room, bathroom, and kitchen on each of the three floors of the building)
  • humanitarian, food, and any assistance that is required
  • psychological and legal support, legalization assistance, job search, etc
  • shelter for 3 months, but if necessary, the period of stay in the shelter can be extended
  • employment and development program for children, learning the language, familiarizing with the values   of Poland, training for children (participation in puppet theater, drawing, trips to the zoo, etc.)
  • women's support club and other activities to restore the psychological and physical condition of mothers

If you need temporary housing, please fill out the form HERE and include your contacts for feedback.  The number of places is limited - only 20. The link is open for distribution.
