Foundation statement.
Friends, the "A Country to Live in" foundation team made a difficult decision to close this program.
There are several reasons.
First a decrease in the number of donations (for the same reason, we reformatted our work to support political prisoners and their families). In such a situation, donations that still come are much more necessary for political prisoners and their families. The second reason is the loss of its relevance by this program.
We had paid material assistance to 286 volunteers and activists of campaign headquarters, volunteers of Akrestsin, and the Honest People initiative for the entire period. The total amount of payments was 87,751 euros. Unfortunately, new applications almost do not come, and the program has gradually exhausted itself.
We remind you of the Fund's current programs:
1. One-time assistance for political prisoners and their families
2. Family Friend solidarity program
3. Summer holidays under the "Cultural Exchange" program for children of political prisoners, activists, and strikers
