The International Day for Protection of Children is celebrated annually on June 1st. It aims to remind us of the need to create conditions for a happy and safe childhood for every child. For the past four years, ahead of this day, a campaign for the children of Belarusian political prisoners has been launched. Each time, we remind the public of the challenges and difficulties faced by such families with children. Many of them can only afford to meet basic needs.
This year, the traditional children's campaign is organized by the project "Emergency Humanitarian Aid Service," which includes BYSOL Fund and A Country to Live in Foundation, Public campaign BY_Help, Dissidentby Initiative. Association of Belarusian Business Abroad, Association of Belarusians in America, "Talaka" organisation also joined the action.
The campaign involves fundraising to help the children of Belarusian political prisoners. Together, we can provide material, but more importantly, moral support to these families. We want to make the children feel that they are not alone with their problems and sorrows.

- Families of political prisoners, where one or both parents are in detention (including those under house arrest with or without restrictions).
- Former political prisoners who have underage children under their care.
- Excursions, trips, travel, summer camps for children.
- Educational workshops such as chess, drawing, etc.
- Sports sections: swimming pool, tennis, football.
- Equipment for games: balls, sneakers, scooters, bicycles, roller skates, brushes, drawing paper.
- Aid of 100 euros will be provided for each child up to the age of 16. Applications are accepted until May 19th.
