Young people who leave Belarus and Ukraine together with their parents (or guardians) find themselves in a social vacuum. In forced emigration they are left to themselves — without friends, relatives, their (Belarusian, Ukrainian) schools, colleges, etc. These teenagers have already suffered from psychological, and some from physical violence and pressure from the illegal criminal authorities in Belarus. And now they are on the territory of another country, where there is a different language, culture, education and mentality. We want to help the guys to adapt. That's why we are organizing an integration camp in Poland.
The camp will be organized for a group of 30 children: 10 Belarusians, 10 Ukrainians and 10 Poles.
The program of the camp is focused on the organization of educational environment and activity of young people (12-15 years old) in a creative mode, providing moral, aesthetic, physical and psychological development, as well as creating conditions for choosing a future profession.
The program is aimed at the integration of Belarusian and Ukrainian young people into modern Polish society, where children from Belarus, Poland and Ukraine live and study side by side, interact on a daily basis and heal psychological wounds that appeared after the beginning of the war in Ukraine and the complicity of Lukashenko's regime in it. The program allows to prepare students for independent actions in case of emergencies, both in nature and in the conditions of the modern world.
Means of program implementation:
The main partner of the camp is the sports and educational club “Krywiczy” (Fundacja sportu I edukacji “Krywiczy”) in cooperation with the Belarusian pastorate in Warsaw (responsible — priest Vyacheslav Barok). The club organizes classes in an informative, creative, interactive and friendly atmosphere. One session for 30 people is planned. Depending on their age, children will be divided into basic and advanced groups according to their level of training.
