Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will address the Belarusian Political Prisoners' Congress, which will be held in Prague from May 23 to 25. She will not speak as the elected leader of democratic Belarus, but rather as a representative of the families of political prisoners. Olga Zazulinskaya, head of the "A country to Live in" foundation, will also participate in Panel Discussion No. 3, "Challenges faced by the relatives of political prisoners."

The event, organized by the Office of Democratic Forces of Belarus in Prague in collaboration with Belarusian human rights activists, activists, and democratic forces structures, aims to focus on the situation of political prisoners, both those in Belarus and those who have ended up abroad after their imprisonment. Participants will discuss ways to free political prisoners and explore opportunities to expand support for those repressed.

The congress will feature working panels in Belarusian and Russian with simultaneous translation into English. Following Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's prerecorded opening speech (as the wife of a political prisoner), a number of experts and relatives of political prisoners will speak. The hashtag for the Congress is #WithoutJustCause.
