At the end of January, the Lukashenko regime orchestrated another wave of intimidation and repression in Belarus through the actions of the KGB. Security forces conducted widespread arrests of relatives of political prisoners, as well as compassionate individuals who stood in solidarity with those persecuted for political reasons.
On February 9th, at 2:00 p.m., specialists from the "Viasna" Human Rights Centre, the BYSOL and BYHELP funds, "A Country to Live in" Foundation, the Dissidentby initiative, and the public organisation "Christian Vision" will provide a legal assessment of the situation at a press conference. Experts will offer their insights and voice practical recommendations for all those involved in supporting and assisting victims of repression.
