Friends, The "Emergency Humanitarian Aid Service" announces the opening of the traditional collection for the children of political prisoners "GET A CHILD READY FOR SCHOOL". This year, the campaign is being held for children of both school and preschool age.
Many families of political prisoners face financial difficulties: one or both parents are in prison and cannot support their relatives who are free. Some families of political prisoners have moved abroad after their release and are struggling to adapt. Our assistance in preparing children for kindergarten and school will ease the financial burden on their families.
The traditional collection of funds for the children of political prisoners is organized by The Humanitarian Ambulance Service which includes BYSOL Fund and A Country to Live in Foundation, Public campaign BY_Help, Dissidentby Initiative as well as partners – Association of Belarusian Business Abroad, Association of Belarusians in America.
We urge everyone to show solidarity and participate. The main condition is personal safety, so please donate to this collection only if you are outside Belarus.
Family members of political prisoners who have preschool children or schoolchildren from grades 1 to 11, and where one or both parents are or have been imprisoned, can apply for assistance to get their children ready for school.
We offer a payment of 100 euros per child. To receive assistance, you need to fill out an application by August 31, 2024. Please note that after the application deadline, the form will be closed.
