After the solidarity marathon "We Care", "A Country to Live in" Foundation received a total of 60 thousand euros. They were transferred in two tranches. The money from the first tranche in the amount of 18 thousand euros went entirely to payments to the families of political prisoners and the transfer of parcels for political prisoners.
The second tranche in the amount of 42 thousand euros was allocated for assistance to the families of political prisoners (27 thousand euros) and for compensation of medical expenses of political prisoners (15 thousand euros). The last amount has not been fully spent. There are 10,175 euros left in the account.
The Supervisory Board of the "We Care" solidarity marathon conducted an audit of the expenditure of the allocated funds and concluded that they were used for their intended purpose. "A Country to Live in" Foundation asked the Supervisory Board to decide what to do with the remaining money, and suggested leaving the unused funds on the account of our organization for further use for its intended purpose.
We will announce the Supervisory Board's decision as soon as it is made.
