"A Country to Live in" Foundation continues its activities to help political prisoners, develop civil society, and build a real country to live in Belarus, in which the rights and freedoms of all citizens are respected.
We are developing initiatives to help Belarusians who suffer from the actions of the criminal regime. You can still support the families of political prisoners and collect the political prisoner for a prison transfer.
In November, we started implementing the Santa Claus Mail project. With its help, everyone can buy a New Year's gift for a little Belarusian, whose parents are heroes. To give warmth and care to children whose mom or dad was thrown behind bars by an evil old man. What could be more important on Christmas and New Year's Eve? At the moment, we have completed accepting letters with requests for gifts from the children of political prisoners, and now we are engaged in packaging and logistics.
We are also working on the “Family friend” solidarity program. A family friend is a person from any part of the world who wants to help a family of political prisoners. At the same time, he does not have contact with these people, or there are difficulties in transferring money from abroad to Belarus. In this case, a Family Friend takes care of a family from our list for one of the proposed periods (3, 6, 9, or 12 months) and provides them with financial support through the Fund.
In November, we revised the previously adopted principles for counting political prisoners. We focus on our friends from dissidentby, who refer to the number of political prisoners who used force to protect themselves or their loved ones, their health, or property from the cruel and often sadistic actions of the security forces. You can see the number of political prisoners on the counter posted on our website. This number is constantly growing.
For the first time in many years, Belarusians worldwide have a common goal - the departure of a dictator and creating a truly legal and just state in Belarus. "A Country to Live in" foundation is at the forefront of this fight against totalitarianism, and helping political prisoners and their families is one of the critical factors in achieving success.
Please tell your friends and acquaintances about our Foundation and the help we provide to people in Belarus together.

All the activities of our Foundation would have been impossible without the financial and disinterested assistance of Belarusians both abroad and within the country. Thanks a lot!
