A charity auction in support of Belarusian political prisoners is to be held in Vilnius.
Lukashenka's regime continues a fierce struggle against the people of Belarus. Over a thousand people are currently being held in prisons, including members of the democratic opposition, journalists, and human rights defenders. The arrested Belarusians are being held in incredibly harsh conditions to break their determination and will to resist. As a result, people lose their jobs and income and face various forms of persecution and their families.
The auction, organized by the Lithuanian Artists' Union and the European Parliament member Petras Aushtrevicius, aims to support political prisoners and their families. The auction will take place on December 9 in Vilnius in the Gallery of the Union of Artists. The exhibited works can be viewed HERE. During the event, it will be possible to participate both offline and online.
