Sergei Tikhanovsky

Born in Gomel, lives in Minsk. Graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the Gomel State University. F. Skaryna. In 2019, he created "A Country to Live in" YouTube channel. Initiated the creation of “A Country to Live in” fund for activists, people who believed in him and continue to fight for the freedom and prosperity of Belarus. After he announced his desire to take part in the presidential campaign of the Republic of Belarus, he was persecuted by the authorities. Arrested several times. Since May 29, 2020, he has been in custody.
