Help for political prisoners in Belarus

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya met with initiatives that work on the topic of Belarusian political prisoners at the office of "A Country to Live in" Foundation.

The meeting was attended by human rights activists from Dissidentby.com, Tatyana Khomich, who represents the headquarters of Viktor Babariko and the Coordinating Council, as well as the teams of Politzek.me and our Foundation.

We talked about changes in the criteria for counting and recognizing political prisoners, ways and opportunities to maintain the Belarusian agenda, attracting assistance for political prisoners and their families.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya urged not to stop activities from supporting victims of the Belarusian regime. Our people continue to fight for freedom and democracy. Today, Belarusians are faced with not forgetting those who were captured by the dictator.
