Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya congratulated the team of "A Country to Live in" foundation

Encouraging Words from the elected leader of the Belarusians.

"My dear Foundation "A Country to Live in." I congratulate you on your first anniversary. On the one hand, "A Country to Live in" Foundation is the head and employees who work there and who invest an incredible amount of effort, time, and energy to help people in Belarus, political prisoners, their families, children, organize various actions in support. On the other hand, "A Country to Live in" foundation is people who donate money to help others. I know that both the first and the second sincerely love Belarus and want to help at least a little those who need it in every possible way. Strength and health to you, "A Country to Live in" foundation.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya unexpectedly received accreditation to run in the presidential elections in the Republic of Belarus after the arrest and imprisonment of almost all independent candidates. She participated in the polls and won a landslide victory, according to the polls. However, after the pressure she faced immediately after voting day, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya was forced to leave Belarus. Her husband, Sergei Tikhanovsky, like hundreds of other political prisoners, is still behind bars.

"A Country to Live in" foundation was founded exactly one year ago with the approval of Sergei Tikhanovsky. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya joined the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. The main goal of our organization is to help political prisoners and members of their families, as well as activists of the headquarters of the united opposition.

We express our sincere gratitude for the congratulations, and we
will continue our activities until all the unjustly convicted are released and the dictatorial regime in Belarus ends its existence.
