A brief overview of three months of activity.
For the past 3 months, "A Country to Live in" foundation has been implementing the Family Friend solidarity program. Its goal is to connect the family of a political prisoner with a person who will become a true friend and lend a shoulder of support in the dark days for Belarus and all of Europe.
A friend can choose a specific family and the term for assisting her after signing a non-disclosure agreement with our organization.
During the work, we found 9 Friends.
The period of assistance varies from 3 to 12 months. Monthly payments range from 150 to 300 euros.
Today, in search of a Friend, we have 15 families with children. Among them are families who fled from Ukraine. But unfortunately, their relatives are also in Belarusian prisons.
